What to Expect

No kayaking experience needed—we’ll show you the ropes!

A moderate fitness level is recommended. You’ll need to paddle for 2.5 hours, sit comfortably in the kayak, and hop in and out a couple of times.

Double kayaks—you’ll team up with a partner. Important: Each child under 18 must be accompanied by an adult in their kayak. We require one adult per child when booking (unless discussed with us prior). Please check your booking meets this requirement.

Some open water and small waves possible, so be ready for a bit of adventure.

The tour starts on the 1770 foreshore with a safety briefing and paddling tips before heading out.

Return to shore under a golden sunset sky.
Who Can Join?

Ages 12 and up (kids must paddle with an adult).

If you’re over 55 or have back, shoulder, or hip concerns, we recommend giving us a call first.

Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult unless pre-approved.

Important to know - Please read!
Weight limit
Maximum weight per person is 120kg. The combined weight limit in a double kayak is 190kg.
Alcohol
Please refrain from consuming alcohol prior to the tour.
Double kayaks
We use double kayaks. If you are travelling by yourself or in a group with an uneven number, we may pair you up with someone else or ask you to paddle a single kayak.
Can it get wet?
Assume EVERYTHING can get wet. Don't bring things that aren't going to survive a fall into saltwater!
Dolphins
The dolphins are WILD and we cannot guarantee a sighting. We will always do our very best to spot them and we know where to look for them.
Small groups
We take a maximum of 12 people on the Sunset tour.

We get affected by wind and tide and some days can be easier than others...please contact us if you are unsure about the weather or your abilities or fitness level.
